Choose the MCSA credential if you:

Manage, support, and troubleshoot the ongoing needs of Microsoft Windows® server-based operating environments.
Have six to 12 months of experience managing and supporting a desktop server and network operations in an existing network infrastructure.
Job title examples include: systems administrator, network administrator, information systems administrator, network operations analyst, network technician, or technical support specialist.

 

Choose the MCSE credential if you:

Plan, design, and implement Microsoft Windows server solutions and architectures.
Have at least one year of experience analyzing business and technical requirements, and planning, designing, and implementing solutions with Microsoft products and technologies.
Job title examples include: systems engineer, network engineer, systems analyst, network analyst, or technical consultant.
